Our Democracy is Under Attack
The first amendment guarantees FREE SPEECH for people, not corporations. But the ruling for Citizen's United by the Supreme Court has opened the flood-gates for corporate money in political campaigns. How do you think this will impact our elections? Corporations aren’t people, and they shouldn’t be allowed to print their logos on Congress like some NASCAR race.

Petition to force Senators to reinstate the Public Option into the reform plan.

Great websites, both. The Free Speech site is highlighting the horrible Citizens United ruling and a new poll says 80% of Americans are against it. When is the last time you saw that many Conservatives agreeing with us?

The other site about the Public Option was created to make the Senate aware America still wants real reform, not that lobbyist influenced watered down mess they offered us in December. A new poll by the Washington Post says 65% of Americans want the Public Option. The Post is a conservative paper so again, many conservatives are agreeing with our policies and idiologies. Sadly their voices are drowned out just like ours by the mainstream neocon press.

What a pile of crap!!! I'm guessing those that own their own business don't have a say in who they are wanting to elect?
Jeez louise!!!! Is this because obammy won't be elected again so those that want him to destroy the good ol' USA are not wanting corporations to support the next president?
All I have to say is that Obama=can't fix stupid!

So you are saying corporations have the right to free speech? Are you saying they have rights like humans do? You are a big supporter of not only lobbyists in Washington, but a monstorous increase in the number of lobbyists and they money they have to work with to influence votes? So how with my small business do I get my point across to a politician without slipping them a huge check as the corporations will do? Your idea of America is a Fascist government in the making.
